RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It is a way to easily distribute a list of headlines, update notices, and sometimes inventory changes to a wide number of people. Think of it as a one-stop shop for all the stuff you want to read online. For the consumer, an aggregator or reader, either web-based or installed on your computer, ties it all together.

To make use of this information, you have to download and install an RSS feed reader like SharpReader. Every so often, the aggregator checks the RSS feeds you selected. You log on to the aggregator and see the updates to your favorite sites, blogs and stores, all in one place. For more information on RSS, please visit:

2008 Peter Lehmann - Layers White
This polished, focused red is distinctive for the spice and tobacco accents to the supple core of red berry and cherry flavors, lingering on the generous finish. Shiraz, Mourvèdre, Grenache, Tempranillo and Carignane. Drink now through 2015

2008 Clos de los Siete
Quite ripe, but focused and juicy, with blueberry, açaí berry and bramble notes laced with fruitcake and spice hints. A nice briary edge keeps the finish honest. Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Petit Verdot. Drink now

2005 Jalon - Altos Las Pizarras
The 2005 Las Pizarras, produced from 100% old bush vine, dry-farmed Garnacha (70-100 years of age) is remarkably floral (violets) with traces of lavender, spices, and Provencal herbs. The black cherry flavors are mouth filling and there is enough tannin for several years of development. Tasted blind, you might think this was a high class Chateauneuf du Pape
