bright fruit, a little candied, but with strong acid and tannins to lend a good backbone.

Arrosee
leather, chocolate and tobacco, but soo much of it. Excessively over ripe fruit, after 15 years the fruit held, but the tannins and acid were gone, leaving sweet grape juice.

Cos d'Estournel
sweet fruit, a little tight with hints of blood. A nice mineral, gravelly taste with good fruit and a lasting finish.

Pontet-Canet
A little tight at first with hints of pepper. Liberal use of new wood. Needs time to open up and reveal itself.

Leoville Las Cases
chocolate, leather and dried blood. Very lively with a big body loaded with fruit and tannins and nice strong finish. Very Good
