2011 Patz & Hall - Pinot Noir Sonoma County
An enjoyable, light bodied wine. Lovely, dark garnet in the glass. Blackberry, cassis, and subtle herbs on the palate. Nicely balanced and smooth as silk on the finish. Recommend decanting for 45 minutes to an hour prior to serving.

2002 Zind-Humbrecht - Gewurztraminer Goldert VT
The wine is a lovely hue of gold in the glass, demonstrating a wonderful viscous quality when swirling. The nose was reminiscent of candied pineapple, honey, rose petal, and a subtle note of ginger. With 90 grams of residual sugar, I fully anticipated a rich, decadent experience on the palate. I was not disappointed! The wine was nicely structured showing great balance between the fruit, minerality, and acidity. Orange zest accompanied by cinnamon graced the palate. The finish was pleasantly long. I would anticipate this rich wine to drink well for another 15 years.
