Copain - Pinot Noir Tous Ensemble
Not up to par. Thin, closed (after 45 minute decant) and chopped finish. Could sense that the components were there...just couldn't coax them out.

Leonetti - Cabernet Sauvignon Walla Walla Valley Reserve
Had with a 2004 Maybach. Night and different wine. Leonetti still tight with solid tannins. Fruit is on the back end, not really on the nose and the front end. Total opposite to the Maybach with the fruit forward nose, vanilla/oak flavor with a slight hint of tannins. Leonetti better with the food...Maybach better to just sip. Both good, not great.

Kosta Browne - Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast
The candiness of this wines has mellowed (which I liked). The wine had a nice bright cherry finish that lasted about 30 seconds...enjoyed this wine.

Sea Smoke - Pinot Noir Southing
Nice, but very muted. Dark color, but lean fruit...maybe in a funny state...have enjoyed this wine many times...tonight was just okay.

Cayuse - Grenache God Only Knows
Had with a 03 Les Amis (Aus) and 07 Pure (French). All 100%. More smokey with big flavors. The Les Amis was the most integrated and complete...maybe due to the years of difference.
