RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It is a way to easily distribute a list of headlines, update notices, and sometimes inventory changes to a wide number of people. Think of it as a one-stop shop for all the stuff you want to read online. For the consumer, an aggregator or reader, either web-based or installed on your computer, ties it all together.

To make use of this information, you have to download and install an RSS feed reader like SharpReader. Every so often, the aggregator checks the RSS feeds you selected. 2013 Hall - Sauvignon Blanc T Bar T

(Tasted May 25, 2015)

2005 Tolaini - Picconero
Decanted, aerated, drank 3 hrs later. Initially a bit of funk on the nose, but that volatilized away quickly to reveal dark fruit, anise and licorice on the nose. On the palate this wine's tannins are evident, but it has the fruit and acid to carry it. Tarry notes. Wonderful mid-palate. Seems to touch all the taste buds. Long finish. This wine will continue evolve, I'd et it has the stuff to go at least another decade. Outstanding!

(Tasted May 17, 2015)

2001 Spring Mountain - Cabernet Sauvignon Estate
Wonderful just now. Blueberries and red fruit. Menthol, eucalyptus, cedar. Med + tannins; med acid; gracious length. Exceptional.

(Tasted Apr 29, 2015)

2006 Mario Giribaldi - Barbaresco
Med-high acid; High tannins; a bit out of balance as fruit not quite up to the tannins and acid, but overall a nice Barbaresco, esp for the price!

(Tasted Apr 21, 2015)

2006 Spring Mountain - Elivette
Decanted for four hours. Nose of violets, menthol, camphor. Beautiful dark-ruby color. Med+ acid, high tannins, but the fruit can carry it. Cab Franc gives it depth, Petit Verdot lends a blueberry undertone. A wonderful effort, but Spring Mountain never fails to delight!
