Guigal - Hermitage
Drinking wonderfully now. Secondary flavors of tobacco and garage have developed. Nicely balanced.
Illumination - Sauvignon Blanc
pale lemon, clear. on the nose. jasmine, apricot. Medium acid. Elegant mouthfeel, aided by the Semillon in the blend. Med-long finish. Honeysuckle, apricot. No holes in this one, delights the entire palate.
BV - Tapestry Reserve
Aerated, decanted and drank 2 hrs later: Clear, garnet; roses, violets, licorice on the nose. Wonderful balance, tannins seamlessly integrated; med-long finish; sweet red fruits, menthol.
