RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It is a way to easily distribute a list of headlines, update notices, and sometimes inventory changes to a wide number of people. Think of it as a one-stop shop for all the stuff you want to read online. For the consumer, an aggregator or reader, either web-based or installed on your computer, ties it all together.

To make use of this information, you have to download and install an RSS feed reader like SharpReader. Every so often, the aggregator checks the RSS feeds you selected. You log on to the aggregator and see the updates to your favorite sites, blogs and stores, all in one place. For more information on RSS, please visit:

2004 Trefethen - Chardonnay Estate
A little on the oaky side of the ledger, but not over the top. Certainly has the yellow apple fruit to back it up. Enjoy with a grilled burger and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

2000 Merryvale - Merlot Beckstoffer-Las Amigas Vineyard
This wine was fresher than the 99, with some upside still in the bottle. Wonderful soft fruit integrated superbly with the tannins and bottle boquet. Enjoy!

1999 Merryvale - Merlot Beckstoffer-Las Amigas Vineyard
Showing beautiful bottle boquet, with a little dried fruit character still hangin on. Drink now.

2001 Silverado - Merlot Napa Valley
sukrprisingly fresh for an 8 year old Napa Merlot. Tannins were still slighly on the blousy side. Strong vanilla and cedar was in balance with the combination of still fresh fruit and bottle boquet.

2005 Tours - VdP de Vaucluse
Quite peppery, with obvious southern France grenache character...also perhaps a bit of Marsanne in there as this wine is very expressive aromatically. Oregano is a little over pronounced and is the dominant closer.
