Clos des Fees - Herve Bizeul
Upon opening, nose of alcohol, fruit, chocolate and espresso. In mouth, seems pale, there is a ground layer, earthy and a little chocolate. But upper layer of more elegant flavor is lacked. Already peaked? Silky and sweet tannin by the way. No improvement through 1 hr decanting.

Penfolds - Shiraz Bin 128
A typical Shiraz. Very strong nose of spice upon opening. On palate, plummy and spicy. Silky tannin. After 2 hrs decanting, begin to show some floral aroma and some vanilla, cherry on palate. Still a young wine. Need time to age.

Very fruity. Layers of plum, oak and mocha, but all very thin. A pleasant wine yet not much to say about.

medium golden. aroma of honey and wood. strong acid and touch of honey, apple, wood and mineral but very smooth. the finish is fruity and sweet. overall, a terrific white.

Ronciere - Chateauneuf du Pape
Aroma of smoke and espresso. Hint of mineral and plum. A simple wine. Lack of complexity.
