Mionetto - Il Prosecco
Not bad - tart apple flavors.
Fairbanks California Port
OK buy in a pinch - maybe for a recipe that requires port, or if you want to introduce a non-port drinker to the wine. Do not keep more than a day - does not store well.
Columbia Crest - Riesling Two Vines
Lots of apple - accessible to non-drinkers. Needs to be cold, but can be drunk at a warmer temperature.
Hogue - Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve
Needed to be open for a day or so before it really developed - tasted thin on first day (strangely enough).
Elk Creek Vineyars Kentucky Blue Vidal Blanc
The tartness listed on the bottle was very prominent, enough to effectively mask the apple / peach / citrusy notes that the label also advertised. These flavors came out better once it had been opened for a day or so, so this very bright white may have benefited from a few hours of decanting.
