Rivetto - Barolo
Very tannic. Decanted for over 2 hours...and then it opened up nicely. Light red in color, red tart cherries, cleanses the palate with each sip. Enjoyed with Italian sausages.
Belguardo - Maremma Toscana
Wow...dark red hues...dark berries nose...and delicious. The Cab Franc is a great blending addition. Enjoyed with Thai steak salad and chinese chicken salad at HOustons.
Louis Latour - Meursault Les Gouttes d'Or 1er Cru
Dark yellow. Maybe slightly oxidized. Too oaky for my liking.
Beringer - Cabernet Sauvignon Knights Valley Reserve
Brooding but not an elegant Napa Cab. It is from Knights Valley, Sonoma. But good effort.Enjoyed with Pork chops and Potato Fennel Gratin
