Clarendon Hills - Shiraz Brookman Vineyard
Very full bodied. High alcohol. Drink on a cold evening with red meat and you will enjoy it.
Decanted for 3 hours. Still fresh nose after 16 years of captivity. Red cherries and fruit on the nose. Integrated tannins. Lovely. Enjoyed at Christmas with roast leg of lamb.
I Balzini - 'White Label' Super Dai Colli Della Toscana
Must decant for a couple of hours. Lovely super Tuscan. Just got better even on the second day. Blend of cab sav and sangiovese. I am glad I still have 2 bottles left.
Piper-Heidsieck - Brut Vintage
Toasty and tasty...super champagne. One of my favorites.
San Guido - Guidalberto
Decant is a must. Quite tannic but with nice acidity and full body. Enjoyed with Italian sausage and broccoli rabe.
