Iron Horse - Wedding Cuvee
Salmon in color. Raspberry on the nose. Lime, Grapefruit but only hints. Not tart. Gives way to yeasty edge. One of my favorites from Iron Horse, but not as good as the "Make-Up Cuvée" from the same year. Still, excellent and always a great experience.
A Rafanelli - Zinfandel Unfiltered
Garnet in color. Slow legs. Black currant (cassis), Forest floor on the nose. Hints of Blackberry, Oak. Plenty of spice. Tannins have mellowed. Great food wine. Drink now.
Iron Horse - Winter's Cuvee
Silver in color. Lemon, Pear, on the nose. Full mouthfeel. Not as dry as other Iron Horse sparklers, but great.Pair with rich foods.
Iron Horse - Pinot Noir Estate
Crimson in color. Plum, Blackberry, on the nose. Oaky and plum flavors with nice dry backbone. Tasting well now. Reading earlier reviews they note an awkward phase, but I believe it's gone through it.
Iron Horse - Brut X Vintage
Nearly silver in color. Maybe has gained a little color with age? Meyer lemon on nose remains. Initially some citrus notes with the same dry finish.
