2004 Poliziano - Le Stanze
The 2004 Le Stanze di Poliziano is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot aged in small French oak barrels. A dark ruby, it opens with a lovely, well-articulated nose followed by sensations of scorched earth, tar, flowers, dark fruit and toasted oak. It offers excellent length on the palate, with a very attractive, generous personality and fine tannins on the finish. Anticipated maturity: 2007-2018. 90 points

2004 Gagliole - Rosso
This gorgeous Super Tuscan blends cabernet and sangiovese to great effect. This lush powerhouse truly defines how great wine can be. Spicy and meaty, with just the right amount of dark red baerry fruit and well-structured tannins, it was our favorite wine of 2008. Food Pairing: Osso Bucco Grape Varietal: Tuscan blend Country: Italy Vintage Date: 2004 Wine Score: 94

2005 Giacomo Mori - Chianti
Bright ruby. Enticing aromas of bright red cherry and redcurrant, with a floral topnote giving lift to the nose. Fresh, underripe red cherry and raspberry fruit boasts a lush yet mouthwatering texture, with harmonious acidity giving definition to the wine. Brightly mineral, fruity finish offers a captivating acid/tannin balance that makes you want to drink this by the bucketful. This isn't going to make old bones, but it's hard to ask for anything more from a simple, everyday table wine.

2000 Groot Constantia - Gouverneur's Reserve
Delicious, highly intense with layers of fruit flavours, blackberry, cherry, plums, earthyness and a touch of cigar box, with a slight hint of mint. Well-structured elegant wine, with an exquisitely elegant tannin infusion. SERVING SUGGESTIONS Shoulder of Lamb with rich sauce, Fillet of Beef, Rack of Lamb.
