RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It is a way to easily distribute a list of headlines, update notices, and sometimes inventory changes to a wide number of people. Think of it as a one-stop shop for all the stuff you want to read online. For the consumer, an aggregator or reader, either web-based or installed on your computer, ties it all together.

To make use of this information, you have to download and install an RSS feed reader like SharpReader. Every so often, the aggregator checks the RSS feeds you selected. You log on to the aggregator and see the updates to your favorite sites, blogs and stores, all in one place. For more information on RSS, please visit:

2005 Rene et Vincent Dauvissat - Chablis La Forest 1er Cru
Still a bit closed but with an attractive combination of white flowers and seashells on the nose and a very mineral palate. Outstanding structure is its strong suit: acidity balanced with concentration and followed by great length. Still intellectual vs. hedonistic. Last sip was the best sip of all. A good sign. Try again in a year.

2005 Robert-Denogent - Pouilly-Fuisse Les Carrons Vieilles Vignes
Gold. Sherry like nose. PremOx? Well balanced but unusually aged. Will wait for next bottle before scoring

1996 Dunn - Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain
Triple decanted. Cedar, red fruits, concentration married with acidity....dare I say elegant?

2000 Clos des Papes - Chateauneuf du Pape
Fine and lingering red fruit aromatics followed by a beautiful harmony of freshness, intensity and length. Drinking very well now. Glad I have more

2002 Viret - Solstice VdP Porte de Mediterranee
Medium light red, gamey, fresh, slightly salty finish. Surprisingly good for a 2002; drinks well now. A summer red.
