Dalla Valle - Maya
Garnet in color. Slow legs. berry spicy pungent aroma and flavor. Medium/Full bodied. Linear texture. Medium finish. I think its always a unique experience when one gets to drink a maya. 2001 is not one of my favorite vintages for them. I think the wine would have benefited greatly from longer decanting.

Very special classic cab. In 3-4 years this will be a collector classic. Deep garnet in color. Medium legs. Light toast, Oak, Vanilla. Clove, Black currant (cassis). Medium/Full bodied. Silky texture. Long finish. Tannins left early. Simply wonderful
