RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It is a way to easily distribute a list of headlines, update notices, and sometimes inventory changes to a wide number of people. Think of it as a one-stop shop for all the stuff you want to read online. For the consumer, an aggregator or reader, either web-based or installed on your computer, ties it all together.

To make use of this information, you have to download and install an RSS feed reader like SharpReader. Every so often, the aggregator checks the RSS feeds you selected. You log on to the aggregator and see the updates to your favorite sites, blogs and stores, all in one place. For more information on RSS, please visit:

2010 Aubert - Chardonnay Lauren Vineyard
Nothing subtle about about this bottle, just big delicousness that although not shy of wood has just the right amount of pure fruit, minerals, acidity and complexity to be both a WOW wine and memorable - best with the rich complex seafood at Waterbar - wait 1 - 2 years for next

(Tasted Jul 13, 2014)

2007 Copain - Pinot Noir Wentzel Vineyard
gave to Annise for dinner with "book club" girls

2004 Rocca Family - Cabernet Sauvignon Yountville
As good as ever and looks to stay that way or improve for several years

2003 Branaire-Ducru
Thought I was drinking wine given to me by the Renous and was surprised at how much I was enjoying the supposedly lesser wine -It was delicious, feminine and very Bordeaux - wonderful with food - not a WOW wine but rather one to be savored
