RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It is a way to easily distribute a list of headlines, update notices, and sometimes inventory changes to a wide number of people. Think of it as a one-stop shop for all the stuff you want to read online. For the consumer, an aggregator or reader, either web-based or installed on your computer, ties it all together.

To make use of this information, you have to download and install an RSS feed reader like SharpReader. Every so often, the aggregator checks the RSS feeds you selected. You log on to the aggregator and see the updates to your favorite sites, blogs and stores, all in one place. For more information on RSS, please visit:

NV Jean Vesselle - Rose
3+ as we recalled it; deep rose color; good acidity, red fruits, good with food

(Tasted Sep 29, 2008)

2007 Araldica - Gavi La Luciana
3 pale yellow, light body, a bit of citrus, maybe green apple, good acidity, good with light food and probably a good aperitif; would buy again;

(Tasted Aug 11, 2008)

2005 Durban - Beaumes-de-Venise Cuvee Prestige
4 dark fruit colors, flavor, aroma; medium body; fruit - acid - finish with some more fruit, a bit of earthness, some spice; great with food; like the southern rhone blend; would buy again

(Tasted Aug 8, 2008)

2005 Gustave Lorentz - Gewurztraminer Reserve Particuliere
3- pale yellow; aromas of a fruit like kiwi perhaps or more floral than fruit but I say exactly; medium mody; on the finish sweetness predominates or least more than I prefer; Corison's was better; yet good with the salad and would be good with cheese and maybe Asian

(Tasted Aug 1, 2008)

2006 Chantemerle - Chablis La Chantemerle
3 pale yellow; medium body; citrus, maybe stone fruit; riper fruit flavors than other chablis from NBI; finish a bit unfocused; interested in trying the second bottle

(Tasted Jul 28, 2008)
