2007 Eric Kent - Pinot Noir Stiling Vineyard
Alcohol, 14.7%, Production 307 cases Aromas: rich and deep date, clove, cola with velvet-like feel Palate: firm entry, vibrant lavender, strawberry and cherry cola with hints of baking spices; nutmeg, cinnamon Impression: this wine gained quite a bit in the glass even though the sample had apparently been open for a few hours. No hurry to drink this. Hold till 2012

2007 Eric Kent - Chardonnay Sonoma Coast
Alcohol 14.7%, production 211 cases Aromas: lemon and wet stones with a bit of smoke, waxxy vanilla dust and dill Palate: crisp entry of lemon and lime, rounded by some melon and vanilla hints. The mineral and oak add some subtle notes to an overall pleasant experience. Impression: straight forward and clean, the oak is just about right.
