2006
Francois Bertheau - Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru
subtle nose, some interesting notes such as apricots but hard to pin down, light body with plenty of acid, not quite enough structure to stand up to the acid
taste in a year to see how it's integrated and determine right drinking window
2006
Francois Bertheau - Chambolle-Musigny
bright tree fruit, nice aromatics, relatively simple, light/medium body and very drinkable now
2003
de Mons
red brick color, too early to drink with lots of acid and tannins not melded together; bright fruits and spices - allspice, cinnamon, even incense; better after two days in the decanter when the fruits showed through, though they had started to fade at this point
2000
Lagrange (St Julien)
Still too early; good deep purple color but still too tannic even after decanting; after two days in the decanter, the tannins mellowed but some of the fruit gone at that point; very cherry, dried stone fruits, cherry cider, somewhat piney
