Nose full of dried cranberries and raisins. Hints of nutmeg and vanilla. Medium body. Supple wine full of tart berries. Great wine! Drink now.

Napa Valley Vineyards - Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve
After holding onto this bottle for over 8 years I decided to open it and was very much surprised at what I found. The color is a rich ruby red with a light halo surrounding the edges of the glass. The aroma is rich with strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries with hints of rich tobacco. Moderately dry; Mouth feel is medium/full with a long finish, carrying notes of cassis that lingers on the palate. The subtle and chewy tannins now tasted are tribute to the strong tannins that helped this wine achieve its 10 year old life (with a good 2-3 years left).
