1999 Pio Cesare - Barbaresco
WOW, just great timing to consume this wine. Tannins are still there but not overpowering and a bouquet....WOW. 95 points easily.

2003 Clarendon Hills - Grenache Hickinbotham Vineyard Old Vines
Not what I expected. Disappointing. This wine has an aging potential, but I would definitively drink it ASAP. Medium body, slightly light on the nose. Slightly bubbly on taste which is weird.

Tasted side-by-side with 1996 Mouton. It was a tough competition. There were people who like it better than Mouton, but not me. It is very harsh yet and requires patience for at least 5 more years.
