Chateau Montelena - Chardonnay Napa Valley
Minerals come through in the nose and stone fruit on the palate. A little bitter overall and rather strong for a Chardonnay but looks as if it will get better with age.

Very clean flavours with tart apple notes. A little too dry for my taste but excellent nonetheless.

Billecart-Salmon - Brut Rose
I'm generally not one for bubbles but this elegant Rose sparkler definitely merits attention. Captivating aromas and beautiful to look at in the glass. Bursts with citrus and berry flavors, it has great acidity and a nice clean finish.

JJ Prum - Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Spatlese
Fruity nose and honeyed palate. Beware of the hint of sulphur lingering at first so let this one have some air before trying. Overall, an excellent Riesling if you like them sweeter. First Prum I've had and won't be the last.

Tomassi - Amarone della Valpolicella Classico
Very fruity nose, smooth on the palate, and a long finish. Excellent as a dessert wine.
