A Rafanelli - Cabernet Sauvignon Unfiltered
Wow, last few bottles were amazing. Definitely in the sweet spot on this one. Really nice acidity, big fruit, subtle oak. This wine is rock'n.

A Rafanelli - Cabernet Sauvignon Unfiltered
Slightly out of balance. Almost liquor like with somewhat harsh tannins. That said, it went great with steak and provided plenty of hedonistic pleasure. A huge wine that will probably be better in a few years. Plenty of sediment so best to decant. I have never tasted a cab this huge from Sonoma County.

Chappellet - Merlot
Solid merlot. Pleasant flavors. Nothing particularly noteworthy. Not a $30-$40 wine. Solid Tuesday night wine that isn't on par with their signature cab which can be amazing

Condado de Haza - Crianza
Still not revealing much. There is a touch of fruit, and a fairly strong wall of tannin still present. Tastes like a Duero wine, but not sure how much beteer this will get. Letting my other bottles nap another 5 years to see if the tannins fade a bit more.

Girard - Artistry
This seems to be fading as it was much better when young. Now there is noticable alcohol on the nose and much less fruit. Drink up as this is going downhill.
