RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It is a way to easily distribute a list of headlines, update notices, and sometimes inventory changes to a wide number of people. Think of it as a one-stop shop for all the stuff you want to read online. For the consumer, an aggregator or reader, either web-based or installed on your computer, ties it all together.

To make use of this information, you have to download and install an RSS feed reader like SharpReader. Every so often, the aggregator checks the RSS feeds you selected. You log on to the aggregator and see the updates to your favorite sites, blogs and stores, all in one place. For more information on RSS, please visit:

2004 Sebastiani - Secolo
Classic Cabernet flavors of cherry, plum and currant. Rich and soft textured. Definately a one day bottle, day two was not nearly as enjoyable as the fruit flavors faded. Remains a must buy every year for me. I think I enjoed the '03 more.

(Tasted Jan 23, 2007)

2003 Flowers - Pinot Noir Frances Thompson Vineyard
Good nose on opening. Overly acidic and flavors fade instead of building as the wine is exposed to air. Very disappointing. Second Flowers in a row that was not worth the money or time.

(Tasted Jan 21, 2007)

2004 Novy - Syrah Rosella's Vineyard
Dark inky purple color. Great nose..earth/forest floor and dark cherry. Dark cherry and blackberry or currant flavors. Full bodied, thick texture

(Tasted Jan 2, 2007)

1996 Caymus - Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley
Classic Caymus, but not my favorite vintage (could be bottle variation). Great nose that disappated quickly. There was an off sour cherry flavor that took away from the total enjoyment. No where near as good as the 1994

(Tasted Jan 1, 2007)

2004 Walter Hansel - Pinot Noir Cahill Lane Vineyard
Elegant, burgundy style pinot. Strawberry/floral aroma & flavors with hints of vanilla.

(Tasted Jan 1, 2007)
