RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It is a way to easily distribute a list of headlines, update notices, and sometimes inventory changes to a wide number of people. Think of it as a one-stop shop for all the stuff you want to read online. For the consumer, an aggregator or reader, either web-based or installed on your computer, ties it all together.

TannicTony 91

1999 Mortet, Denis - Clos de Vougeot
A mix of rusticity and elegance. Powerful bouquet of dark pinot fruit, minerals and underbrush. Sweet palate with dusty tannins that continued to evolve and become sweeter over 2 hours.

2000 Mommessin - Clos de Tart
Bright ruby color, nose of dark cherries, incense and earth. Juicy vibrant palate with plush tannins. Another from the 2000 vintage drinking very well right now.

1956 DRC - La Tache
Graciously poured by Bernard Noblet at DRC cellar. Fantastic aroma of well aged Burgundy, spicy sweetness on the palate but yet still had some back end structure. Amazing.

2002 Lafarge, Michel - Pommard Les Pezerolles 1er Cru
The deep saturated color tricks you in believing this wine is a typical rustic Pommard but not a chance. Although very well structured it is down right class in a glass. The epitome of why many Burgundy aficionados call Les Pezerolles the Chambolle of Pommard. Fantastic. Hold for a few more years.

2001 Dujac - Clos de la Roche
From half bottle. Gorgeous bouquet of dark pinot fruit, mocha and earth. Excellent balance and purity. Fantastic 01 that is great now but if held will reward further.
