RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It is a way to easily distribute a list of headlines, update notices, and sometimes inventory changes to a wide number of people. Think of it as a one-stop shop for all the stuff you want to read online. For the consumer, an aggregator or reader, either web-based or installed on your computer, ties it all together.

To make use of this information, you have to download and install an RSS feed reader like SharpReader. Every so often, the aggregator checks the RSS feeds you selected. You log on to the aggregator and see the updates to your favorite sites, blogs and stores, all in one place. For more information on RSS, please visit:

2008 Jean-Paul et Benoit Droin - Chablis Les Clos
needs to open up in the glass; very nice acidity with characteristic flinty minerality; some sweetness at the end but not very marked yet; not at its peak

(Tasted Sep 28, 2014)

1993 Guigal - Cote-Rotie La Landonne
Deep red colour; needed a lot of airing; was very nice on the palate with smoky flavours and some black fruits and spices; not too long of an aftertaste, suggesting that it is now probably past its best

(Tasted Sep 21, 2014)

2001 von Kesselstatt - Josephshofer Riesling Spatlese
Lovely light golden colour; petrol-like noters on the nose with some spritz at the beginning which disappeared after some airing of the wine; lovely and sweet on the palate with notes of apricot and honey; went wonderfully well with our Japanese plats of sushi and smoked eel

(Tasted Sep 21, 2014)

2006 Morey-Blanc - Meursault Les Genevrieres 1er Cru
Light golden colour; lovely bite, fat in the mouth and a long-lasting sweet flavour of honey and peaches on the palate; not at its peak yet but wonderful

(Tasted Sep 19, 2014)

2007 Grand Tinel - Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Alexis Establet
Very deep purple colour; heady notes of fruits and spices on the nose; on the palate it was thick and onctous, almost like an old Olorso ( it is 15 degrees!), strong notes of black cherry, cassis and spices, with a very long finish; a lovely drink now but likely to improve

(Tasted Sep 8, 2014)
