Chapoutier - Hermitage Chante Alouette
Very light golden colour; very fresh and minerally on the palate slipping into some sweetness at the end; drinking well but still has some years ahead to reach its apogee

Jim Barry - Shiraz The McRae Wood
deep red colour; spicey and red fruits notes on the nose; very strong blackcurrent and pepper notes on the palate; hot and long; not very subtle but a very nice wine now

Keller - Riesling Von Der Fels
Very nice German Riesling; it had the standard petrol-like finish with notes of peaches and a fresh acidity

Wonderful as ever; elegant flinty notes on the palate with touches of honey and vanilla; superb

Leflaive (Domaine) - Bourgogne Blanc
a fine white Burgundy with notes of smoke and honey and nice acidity
