Querciabella - Camartina
Smells like a bouquet of flowers, with hints of passion fruit. Full-bodied and very polished, with fine tannins and a long, complex finish. Love this wine. Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah.

Very pretty blackberry and currant aromas follow through to a full-bodied palate, with fine tannins and a silky finish. Nicely done.

Renieri - Re di Montalcino
Serious wine, with currants, blackberries and black pepper. Smoky. Full-bodied, with silky tannins and a long flavorful finish. Slightly hollow midpalate, but this should develop nicely. This is a new wine from a new producer in Montalcino. Cabernet, Merlot and Petit Verdot.

Firm in texture, generous with its cherry and sweet spice flavors, remaining lively and juicy through the long finish.

Fontodi - Flaccianello Della Pieve
Fascinating aromas of berries, fresh mushrooms and beef. Medium- to full-bodied, with well-integrated tannins and a lovely finish. Gorgeous.
