1999
Pride Mountain - Claret Napa Valley Reserve
Drinking well, tannins fully absorbed but I found it lacking a bit in depth and on the finish.
2002
Servin - Chablis Les Clos
Excellent integration of mine reality and fruit. A real mouthful that can stand up to a lot of food. Seems like there is plenty left, too.
2002
Raveneau - Chablis Montee de Tonnerre 1er Cru
Delicious. Perfect balance. Drink now
2001
Jericho Canyon - Proprietary Blend
Full bodied with pure fruit and nice mouth feel. Plenty left in the tank. Lacks the aromatic complexity of the best Bordeaux blends but a very nice wine.
2006
Kesner - Chardonnay Hudson Vineyard
One of the best California Chardonnays you've never heard of. From the renowned Hudson vineyard, this opens like a classic new world chard with honeysuckle and vanilla but expands into a more Burgundian mouthfeel with notes of lemon and melon. Drink now through 2016.
