RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It is a way to easily distribute a list of headlines, update notices, and sometimes inventory changes to a wide number of people. Think of it as a one-stop shop for all the stuff you want to read online. For the consumer, an aggregator or reader, either web-based or installed on your computer, ties it all together.

To make use of this information, you have to download and install an RSS feed reader like SharpReader. Every so often, the aggregator checks the RSS feeds you selected. 1982 Gruaud Larose
RP: A massive wine that is cearly of first-growth quality in this vintage, the 1982 Gruaud Larose remains a youngster. A broodingly dense, thick, unctuously textured, inky/plum/garnet/purpoole color offersw up scents of beef blood, steak tartare, cassis, herbs, tobacco, and underbrush. One of the most concentrated wines of the vintage (as well as one of the most concentrated Bordeaux's I have ever tasted), it is a huge, full-bodiewd, weighty, rich wine whose tannins are getting silkier and silkier. It appears set for anohter 30-40 years of life. This behemoth is a singuarly profound example of Gruaud Larose that continues to justify its legendary status.

1982 Cos d'Estournel
RP: THis 1982 is still displaying a beautiful deep ruby/purple hue as well as a stunning set of aromatics consisting of blue and black fruits, loamy earth, flowers, licorice, and spice box. The wine is medium to full-bodied with wsweet tannins, a medium to full-body mouthfeel, and a silky finish. It appears to have hit full maturity, but it can easily be held in a cold cellar for another 10+ years.

1982 Cheval Blanc
RP: During its first 10-12 years of life, this was a perfect wine, but it now seems to be in a stage where the fruit is still present, but the previous exuberance and intensity have faded slightly. There is plenty of mber at the edge, and this medium to full-bodied wine shows notes of menthol, cdear, spice box, plums and black cherries.

1982 Beychevelle
RP: Recently consistently scoring in the 94-96 point range. Beautifully sweet, slightly herbaceous black currant, licorice aned earthy notes emerge from this nearly opaque, dark ruby/purple-tingeed 1982. Compared ot the more elegant, femine-stype wine often produceed here, it isa best. Dense, thick, rich concentrated and impressive, it can be drunk now and over the next two decades.
