Jaffurs - Grenache Blanc Thompson Vineyard
Apple and white peach. Enough acidity to give it crispness. Paired nicely with a chili, crab and lemon linguini.
Cuvaison - Chardonnay S Block
This is the kind of oak bomb Chardonnay that I used to favor. Wood chips flavor was so overwhelming that the fruit got lost. Thank goodness I've moved on to French wines and unoaked Chardonnays which are much better and food friendlier!
Ridge - Chardonnay Home Ranch
This is amazing Chardonnay. Supple and full in the mouth. Just enough oak and fruit. Wish we had more!
Padis - Cabernet Sauvignon
Dark, inky color. Nose of cedar, leather, currants, dark fruit. Set us up for a big taste expectation. But really light in the mouth, short finish. Underwhelming!
