Was a perfect complement to the Chinese food we had -- the sweetness matching the spices well and not cloying. The fruit was still brighter than we might have expected and mid palate weight of the wine was great. The group was surprised by how well this paired with the fattiness and the spiciness of the food.

We decanted this for about 30 minutes before drinking. We found that given the age and the complexity, drinking in white wine glasses was preferred. Drank beautifully and definitely more like a nice white Burgundy, still possessing the structure and acidity to keep it exciting. Well liked by the whole group.
