More Californian than European style. Darker colour than expected. Not sure if it has enough acidity to finish. Perhaps should have decanted

Cotat, Pascal - Sancerre Chavignol Reserve des Mont Damnes

Pale wine still very young. Nice sauvignon blanc nose. Very easy to drink minerals and herbs. Should age nicely.

Knoll, Emmerich - Gruner Veltliner Ried Kreutles Loibner Smaragd

Excellent wine. Medium gold colour with strong legs. Had classic peppery nose with some sea (crab?) smell. Full on mouth and well balanced fruit and acidity. David/Fiona really liked and kept the label.

Outpost - Zinfandel

Not as good as previous vintages.
Young deep red/purple colour. Ripe fruit on nose. Not too alcoholic but less concentrated than earlier vintages. Would buy and try again.
