Howard Park - Shiraz Leston
Still nearly opaque with a purple rim. Black fruit aromas, but fairly closed. I suspect its in an awkward period. Full-bodied with sweet, rich but dried cherry fruit. Just a touch of grape candy and chocolate. Slightly chalky tannins. Decent acidity and initially quite tart but smoothed out. You'll want to drink this with well-marbled steak. On it's own, it's neither delicious nor complex.
