Donnhoff - Norheimer Kirschheck Riesling Spatlese
Excellent wine - missing some acidity at the moment though.
2006
Kistler - Chardonnay Kistler Vineyard
Another fantastic bottle - with thanksgiving dinner this wine showed vibrant crisp acidity and excellent integration of oak. 3-5 years of cellaring necessary, will drink another 5-10.
2007
Kistler - Chardonnay Cuvee Cathleen
Phenominal - incredible precision, with the combination of oak, acid and fruit in almost perfect sync. Still very young though, another 3-5yrs of cellaring
2008
Scarecrow - Cabernet Sauvignon
Extremely concentrated! Tannin almost imperceptable, tons of toasty oak and blackberries, cassis and a touch of spice. Given its weight, this one probably has many years ahead.
