Girard - Artistry
to be fair, my first taste was after the bottle had been opened for about 20 hours. almost no nose, but fairly balanced (fruit vs. acid) on the tongue. it's a bdx blend, so no single grape stands out. i get dark berries, a bit of graphite, french roast coffee.

Tercero - The Outlier
A dry-style Gewürztraminer. Very pleasant sip on a hot summer day. Nice taste of citrus (lime) and a good acid balance. Moderate length finish.

Araujo - Syrah Eisele Vineyard
Medium to full bodied. Dried fruits and roses on the nose. Long lush finish with notes of cherries (acid), berries and pepper. Smooth, but getting to the end of its life.
1988
Yquem
Very smooth, as one would expect. Comparing to the Tokaji, it's a bit cleaner - not as syrupy. More delicate and floral than the Tokaji's citrus nose/ taste.
