Valley of the Moon - Pinot Noir Carneros
Poured out most of the bottle. This wine should only be drank if you are completely hammered and just want to keep going. Wont even rate it.

Clos St-Michel - Chateauneuf du Pape
This was actually the 2006 vintage (incorrectly entered at purchase)
Nose of bold dark ripe fruit and spice. Soft and full in the mouth. This wine really talks to you after a good hour or so of catching its breath. Rich, almost sweet dark jam very well balanced with a spicy/peppery medium long mouth coating finish. Really delicious, relished every moment. This wine will have some staying power and may improve some with a little time in the cellar but it is wonderful right now.
