Tasty jbut simple on night #1 (89)...vacuumed half the bottle and got to it on night #3...what an improvement...the tropical fruit nuances were fabulous with little noticeable oak...a veritable bargain (92)

This is in a great place right now...good color, correct nose and a silky smooth palate...dusty tannins make for a great mouthfeel...ridiculous quality considering the $22 tariff.

Saxon Brown - Syrah Parmelee-Hill Vineyard Owl Box
I like this even more than the '05...which I adored...for my palate this is amazing syrah...alluring nose of blueberry and smokey bacon and viloets...terrific blue fruit flavor profile but razor sharp acidity and fine tannins give an electric structure ...racy elegance abounds in this wine.
