2006
Rock Hollow - Chardonnay
Bland and dull. Not overly oakey or buttery like so many California Chardonnays, but not remarkable or interesting in any way.
2006
Curtis - Heritage Rose
Light, fruity and refreshing; exactly what a rose should be. A wonderful wine for a hot summer day. Smells like strawberries, tastes like grapefruit, and finishes clean with good, bracing acidity. Chill it down nice and cold, then drink it while the bbq coals heat up.
2007
Curtis - Roussanne Curtis Vineyard
A full-bodied white with a rich, creamy texture. Delicate aromas of lemograss and ripe pears. Pears continue on the palate, along with green apples, leading to a long finish of minerals and citrus.
2005
Curtis - Viognier Late Harvest
A rich, luscious, gorgeous dessert wine. Deep golden color with evident viscosity. Strong aromas of honey and dried apricots spill out of the glass. The palate is thick and sweet with peaches and honey. Serve lightly chilled with bread and roquefort cheese.
2006
Rancho Sisquoc - Riesling
Unusually viscous for a California Riesling. A little bit sweet, but still refreshing. The aromas are subtle, with hints of honeysuckle and citrus. The palate is rich with tangerines and apples. Finishes clean thanks to the addition of Sylvaner to the blend.
