Flora Springs - Trilogy
Always a safe choice and the 2011 does not disappoint. Nice bordeaux blend, Cab based but extremely well balanced with mostly black fruit with a hint of leather and tobacco.
Jada - Passing By
Liked this Cab based wine a lot. Has a rich, full-bodied style, with dark berries and mocha. There is a bit of spice and cedar. The best quality is how these flavors stayed completely in tact from the first sip through the long lingering finish. It very nice experience.
Jada - WCS
A Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot blend. This was a drinkable but uneventful wine. On the nose and palate flavors of cherry and blueberry, with some spice.
Foxen - Pinot Noir Santa Maria Valley
Middle of the road Pinot. Has all the expected scents and tastes but in a muted fashion. The mid plate was lingering which was nice. Overall a drinkable Pinot without the major attraction.
Charly Nicolle - Chablis Les Fourneaux 1er Cru
Very nice Chardonnay. Balanced with just the right mineralty and citrus. Very clean through the finish.
