Beaux Freres - Pinot Noir The Upper Terrace
Expected greatness and was not disappointed. Cherries, raspberries, cola and a hint of spice but done in a burgundy style. There was a complexity that I did not think could be achieved in a pinot noir. The finish was smooth silky and very enjoyable.
Arterberry Maresh - Pinot Noir Dundee Hills
Very nice Pinot Noir. There was an elegance to the subtle way the wine brought dried cherries and raspberries on the nose. On the palate cherries, raspberries and some spice. The tannins was silky smooth and the finish was as well.
Pedroncelli - Cabernet Sauvignon Three Vineyards
On the nose red cherries and some leather. On the palate this a very approachable Cabernet that expresses red fruit. The oak is very subtle and this gives the wine a great opportunity to let some currants, blueberries and licorice exhibit themselves. The finish was flavorful and lingering.
Benton Lane - Pinot Noir Oregon
Fruit upfront followed quickly by cedar and spruce. Some dark chocolate in the mix. Medium tannins. Very long finish. Was glad that the cedar and spruce did soften through the experience
Woodinville Wine Cellars - Grenache
Floral overtones on the nose and palate. Red fruits (Raspberries red cherries and currants)are very present. Garnet in color. Medium tannins and a very nice finish.
