Clos de Noi - Montsant
Old, very old vine Carignan growing in the rocky high plains of Montsant, Spain is a rare treat when it comes to us in such a pure form. The vines crawl nearly 100 feet into the earth, gnarled, low to the ground. Local importer Jose Pastor is the man for finding it. It's super concentrated in that ancient vine way - never gooey, or unnatatural in it's deep fruit taste. There's blackberry, hucklebrry, smoked rock, and cocoa-a-plenty. Primal and sexy. There was a time when a wine like this could get away with selling for $50. A stunner. (Vintage)

Tallulah - Sauvignon Blanc Farina Vineyard La Femme D'Argent
This unique Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from the Farina Vineyard on Sonoma Mountain, and fermented in French oak barrels, primarily neutral. It begins with a complex and bright nose of minerals, lemon curd, orange blossom, key lime and honeysuckle. The rich and elegant mouth-feel and a palate of grapefruit, crushed stone and green apple conclude a wine of quiet intensity and unique style.

Something off in the nose. Possibly corked, but more like Brett - weird. Dumped it.

Bonny Doon - Ruche di Castagnole Monferrato Passito Ferraris
Beautiful nose of flowers - mainly roses. Like potpourri in a glass. But, the flavor isn't as great...little flat. probably better with food.

Fantastic! Kept changing in my glass and this is one of the first times I've ever almost drunk an entire bottle..I saved a small glass for Greg. Wow.
