2006 Porter Creek - Zinfandel Old Vine Sonoma County
A great little zin which is tasty and food friendly.

2007 Harmonia - Pinot Noir
This is a delicate wine with notes of earth and pomegranate on the nose and palate. It's drinking nicely now but I'm going to wait another year before opening the next bottle to see how it develops.

2006 Hoage, Terry - Grenache Skins
A very enjoyable bottle. Probably won't buy another given that there are other equally good granaches out there at better prices.

2007 Yalumba - Viognier Eden Valley
Very enjoyable! Tastes more like a semi-dry riesling than a viognier, in my opinion.

2006 Justin - Syrah
Very decent. A little too gamey on the nose for me but not bad overall.

1999 Pichon-Lalande - Saint Julien
Fairly forward on the nose displaying aromas of green pepper, leather and, dark cherry chocolate. Medium bodied on the palate with flavours of dark cherry, expresso, cedar and cigar box. The finish of cedar and expresso is long and lovely.

2006 Siduri - Pinot Noir Garys' Vineyard
Dried herb and black cherry on the nose. Tart after taste. Paired perfectly with Christmas dinner.

2006 Four Vines - Zinfandel The Biker
Lovely nose of raspberry, black currant and, black pepper. The palate reflects the nose and has a certain loamy characteristic. I would lay this bottle down for a little while longer.

2004 Pio Cesare - Barolo
Very nice on the nose with aromas of dark cherry and lots of earth (think leaves on the ground in the fall). The palate is still very tight but tasty. Decanted for 2 hours before consuming.

2000 Diamondback - Cabernet Sauvignon
Such a yummy wine! On the nose, kirsch, cigar box, cedar and light menthol. The palate is intense and concentrated mirroring the flavors on the nose. The finish sails on for ages. This is a steal of a deal for $19.
