2004 Giscours
tasted blind with several other wines. Was a little cold and short on finish at first. Opened up after about 20 minutes. Lacked that floral/violet nose I like in Margaux..Still, a nice near to mid term drinker.

2003 Giuseppe Quintarelli - Primofiore
Olives, pepper, deep and dark red fruit, and a velvety mouthfeel.. The price point is a little high, but I like this more than the Valpollicella.

2001 Dr Cosimo Taurino - Notarpanaro
Really good. Licorice, tar, and sweet black fruit bellow out of the glass..Not overpowering like Zinfandel can be, though.. Medium/full body, lots of fruit, but naturally so...not from extraction.. Medium length finish..This stuff is a steal..
