1986 Mission Haut-Brion
Nearly perfect. Intense perfume like fragrance that can be noted a full 3 feet from glass. Smoke, cedar and prunes on palate. Tannins have melted away. Full 30 s finish.

2003 Sloan - Proprietary Red
Bold, intense dark berry with moderate finish. Great with New Years rib roast.

1993 Dalla Valle - Cabernet Sauvignon
Wow this has evolved beautifully. Clearly at it's peak though with many years of life. It is one of the few Napa cabs that improve with age. Slightly sweet fruit, fills the mouth and lasts 30s. This bottle was nearly perfect.

2003 Cailloux - Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Centenaire
Complex wine with tobacco, cedar, and dark cherry fruit, moderate tannin, floral nose.

2003 Blankiet - Merlot Paradise Hills Vineyard
Still youthful with soft, round tannic and moderately long finish. Fruit is intense yet balanced. One of the best California Merlots.

1995 Troplong-Mondot
Firm structure, moderate amount of fruit, cassis and cedar. Nice food wine. Needs a few more years.

2005 Foley, Robert - Charbono
light and out of kilter.

2006 Erna Schein - Cabernet Sauvignon The Cemetery
Velvety fruit bomb. Very smooth and pleasurable.
