D'Arenberg - Shiraz/Grenache D'Arry's Original
Outstanding, complex, rich wine, nicely balanced. May need a little more time in the bottle.
Sin-Ley - Monastrell M5
Another great old world vino. Would definitely get more of this. Big fruit on the palatte, wonderful lasting finish.
Ruffino - Modus
Wonderful old world style. needs a couple of years to integrate / open (was delightful one day after opening). Worth picking up half a case to age.
D'Arenberg - Grenache Derelict Vineyard
Outstanding, but may take a few years to mellow out. Very intense, rich dark fruit, fantastic nose. A bit brisk on the palate, but great lingering finish. This is a Grenache?? Wow..
Senorio de Barahonda - Carro Tinto
Young. Needs some time to open up, but should be fabulous in a year or two.
