RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It is a way to easily distribute a list of headlines, update notices, and sometimes inventory changes to a wide number of people. Think of it as a one-stop shop for all the stuff you want to read online. For the consumer, an aggregator or reader, either web-based or installed on your computer, ties it all together.

To make use of this information, you have to download and install an RSS feed reader like SharpReader. Every so often, the aggregator checks the RSS feeds you selected. You log on to the aggregator and see the updates to your favorite sites, blogs and stores, all in one place. For more information on RSS, please visit:

2012 Evening Land - Pinot Noir Seven Springs Vineyard La Source
Unable to judge well - did not decant long enough. It was gone before it started to show it's true colors. VERY VERY Burgundy - NOT Oregon. moderate-lite with lots of wood and little fruit until it started to open, but was gone by then. It needs LOTS of cellar (for me) before it's going to be ready.

2003 Rieussec
same impression as before: "One step below the Guiraud for me, and very different. Not as sweet - more like a liquor than the Guiraud. Darker color as well. Very very nice."

2005 Pavie-Macquin
Half hour decant in glass before any nose appears. 2 hour decant in glass ' dense flavor profile, but not a lot of fruit. Seems closed. Extremely long finish. Seems like it could stand another few years aging. After 24 hours ' the second half of the bottle seems to be expressing more fruit. A better overall taste profile.

2007 Altamura - Cabernet Sauvignon
Excellent- flavor profile is wonderful after decant - deep fruit - subdued tannin and alcohol. Best CAB in the cabinet.
