F. Stephen Millier Viognier - Lodi
Grapefruit and peaches on the nose. Crisp and citrusy, outstanding finish of ripe peach and nutmeg. Congrats Stephen!
Artesa - Chardonnay Carneros
Nose of apple and light citrus. Light oak and more fruit on the palate. Medium finish.
Artesa - Pinnacle
Dark berries on the nose. Quite edgy over the palate with a lot of citric acid. Not my fav Meritage. Too much Cab Franc in the blend, IMO.
Tres Sabores - Sauvignon Blanc Farina Vineyard
Light citrus, a little oakey, not the greatest Sauv blanc I've had.
Imagery Artist Collection - Lagrein
This is about the driest red wine I've ever tasted, even drier than petite verdot! Medium body, tart berries or choke cherries, medium finish. Needs rich sauced red meat -- like top sirloin in stroganoff!
