F. Stephen Millier - Zinfandel Angels Reserve
Purple in color. Fast legs. Light figs on the nose. Fig and cranberry on the palate. No pepper, Light bodied. Bright texture. Short finish. Strange that the last bottle was so much better.
Tres Sabores - Petite Sirah
Purple in color. Medium rim variation. On the nose, strong blackberry and currant. On the palate, more blackberry and some blueberry. Medium/Full bodied. Juicy texture. Medium finish.
Mario Ercolino - Saserello
Black cherries on the nose, pepper, vanilla, and more dark cherries on palate. Nice tannins and long finish. Great Sicilian.
Caspar - Cabernet Sauvignon Estate
Dark berries and tobacco on the nose. On the palate, somewhat edgy, to brash, with dark berries coming through. More fruit and tanins than the 2008 and not nearly as enjoyable. Maybe some more age will help.
Artesa - Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve
Solid, full bodied cab. Leather and tobacco on the nose. Dark berries and stone fruit on the palate. Long finish, smooth tannins, wonderful. But drink in one session. Do not try to keep as it oxidizes quickly, even with vacu vin cork.
