RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It is a way to easily distribute a list of headlines, update notices, and sometimes inventory changes to a wide number of people. Think of it as a one-stop shop for all the stuff you want to read online. For the consumer, an aggregator or reader, either web-based or installed on your computer, ties it all together.

To make use of this information, you have to download and install an RSS feed reader like SharpReader. Every so often, the aggregator checks the RSS feeds you selected. You log on to the aggregator and see the updates to your favorite sites, blogs and stores, all in one place. For more information on RSS, please visit:

2005 Robert Karl - Syrah Columbia Valley
Dark fruits. Simple, pleasant to drink wine that has reached it's peak. Medium finish.

(Tasted Dec 14, 2014)

2001 Joseph Phelps - Cabernet Sauvignon Backus Vineyard
Red currants and tobacco on the nose. That plus green bell pepper on the palate. Huge mouth feel and powerful tannin profile. This is a wine for the ages, drinking great now, but could easily age another 15+ years. Super long finish. 4 hour decant, could easily have been 8-12.

(Tasted Dec 14, 2014)

2000 Joseph Phelps - Cabernet Sauvignon Backus Vineyard
Cherries climbed from the decanter and persisted throughout the evening. 4 hour decant. Tannins nicely integrated. Smooth long finish, great mouth feel. This wine is at it's absolute peak right now. Beautiful.

(Tasted Dec 14, 2014)

2006 Rudius - Cabernet Sauvignon

(Tasted Dec 10, 2014)

2005 Harlan - The Maiden

(Tasted Dec 6, 2014)
