O'Shaughnessy - Merlot Howell Mountain
All of the O'Shaughnessy wines are immensely pleasing. I'm not generally a merlot fan, but this wine rocks.

Marquis Philips - Cabernet Sauvignon S2
The S2 is drinking beautifully. Bouquet is big and rich. Wine is also big and deep, but it's more elegant than it was on release. We drank it with roasted beef tenderloin served with a demiglace. Very nice match. And the wine did not over power the food.
