RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It is a way to easily distribute a list of headlines, update notices, and sometimes inventory changes to a wide number of people. Think of it as a one-stop shop for all the stuff you want to read online. For the consumer, an aggregator or reader, either web-based or installed on your computer, ties it all together.

To make use of this information, you have to download and install an RSS feed reader like SharpReader. Every so often, the aggregator checks the RSS feeds you selected. You log on to the aggregator and see the updates to your favorite sites, blogs and stores, all in one place. For more information on RSS, please visit:

2006 Angelus

(Tasted Jan 17, 2011)

2007 Michele Chiarlo Airone Moferrato

Nota: 88/100 pts.

1995 Veuve Clicquot - Rich Reserve
Classified as "sec", a category of champagne slightly sweeter than extra sec or brut, Veuve Clicquot's Rich Réserve certainly deserves its name. This pale golden liquid with its greenish tints is fine vintage champagne produced from 20 of the best grand crus and premier crus. The "dosage" (added sugar syrup mixed with wine) is double that of a standard brut champagne making for a slightly sweeter taste, but still one that is lively and fresh. The dosage liqueur is produced from old vines giving this very modern champagne a touch of real class. On the nose delicate aromas of flowers and fruits broaden towards sweeter notes of almonds, praline and vanilla. The flavour is generous, dominated by apricots, peaches and nectarines. Magic!

2002 Poesia - Mendoza Red
Aptly named, this wine is pure poetry in a bottle. True to its French heritage and ownership, it emulates the Grand Crus of France, but with the savoir faire endemic to its Argentine soil. With so many layers and nuances, you keep going back for more. The complex nose is a pretty perfume of black tea, plums, leather, and rose. The mouth is a harmony of blackberries, plum, fresh jam, with elements of leather, subtle spice and eucalyptus. With soft tannins, delicate yet persistent flavors, and a finish that is round and simply superb, this wine is in one word- polished. $89.00/Bottle $1,068.00 | $961.20/Case Subtotal: $0.00 Subtotal: $0.00 © 2010.
