Angelus - Carillon de l'Angelus
Robbing the cradle. Opened an hour and a half before drinking and should have done twice that. By dessert it was drinking pretty nicely all things considered. Extracted. Big. Should probably leave it alone for a decade.

Chartron, Jean - Puligny-Montrachet Les Caillerets 1er Cru
Bah. No rating here. This is my third or fourth try with this one and they have all been right on the edge of premature oxidation. Tastes like there is a half decent caillerets underneath but I'm not looking anymore. That was a wasted 6 pack and illustrates one of the recent problems plaguing white burg lovers.

Chateau de Puligny-Montrachet - Meursault Les Poruzots 1er Cru
Really a wonderful meursault. This is is a rich, chiseled wine with just a breath of wood. Meadows says it's not elegant, well maybe, but it's very classy and I could drink it all day.

Trapet - Chambertin
I have had two delicious bottles over the last few months. Drinking like an absolute dream right now and there isn't any reason to wait although it should hold for a bit. Pretty good bargain for what it is, you can find it for under $150. Lovely!!!
