Araujo - Cabernet Sauvignon Eisele Vineyard
A wine to be drinking when they come to take you away. Still remarkably young and full of both power and grace. Toast, prune, crushed rock, blackberry, casis, and some very delicate spring flower notes. Deep purple, well delinieated. Superb.
Hidden Ridge - Cabernet Sauvignon 55% Slope
really good, perfectly mature, dark fruit, long finish, casis.
Still quite a young wine, a bit closed down, although you can find the potential in the bottle. Like all Harlan, it is very well strucutured and delinieated.
Coho - Headwaters
A nice red wine blend. At maturity, drink now.
We could say a lot of things, but to keep it simple 2009 in Pomeral was splendid. This may be the best Clinet ever. Wow, what a wine. Very young, drinkable - what a future, truly an amazing experience.
