Can Blau - Mas de Can Blau
Some friends brought this over on 2/28/2010. It had a fabulous bouquet of blackberry, black cherry, blueberry, spice, cinnamon and coffee aromas. The palate was smooth and balanced with a great mouthfeel and flavors that followed the noseâ?¦great complexity!

Mildiani - Saperavi
I opened the last bottle with friends on 2/28/10 (they really wanted to try Georgian wine). It was a little different from the previous bottle with smoke, cherry, plum and pepper aromas. The palate was light, smooth and balanced with flavors that followed the nose. It was pretty simple and lacked verve.

Vigneti Massa - Pertichetta Croatina
We drank this with friends on 2/28/10. It was very good with aromas and flavors of INTENSE CHERRY, blueberry, spice and cardamom. It was medium bodied and extremely acidic.

Mastroberardino - Taurasi Radici
We drank our second bottle with friends on 2/28/10. It had a great bouquet of tobacco, potting soil, cedar, black cherry and spice. The palate was smooth, balanced and very dry with flavors that followed the nose. This bottle did seem more tannic than the previous one.

Domaine Carneros - Pinot Noir The Famous Gate
I drank my last bottle on 2/19/10 and was amazed how much I liked it. The oak no longer dominates. The bouquet was terrific with strong barnyard, cherry, baking spice and burnt toast aromas. The palate was smooth, balanced and dusty dry with black cherry, plum, baking spice, mocha and toast flavors. This was an amazing improvement over the last bottle! VERY GOOD!
